On August 30, 2015, UK Shaolin Xiu Center held the celebration of Ullambana to carry forward the traditional culture of showing filial respct and gratitude to parents in Buddhism. Nearly 450 people, including the students of the center, local worshippers and Shaolin Culture lovers, attended this ceremony. Master Jingtong, Master Yanxiu-head of UK Shaolin Xiu Center, Master Phra Nicholas Thanissaro-abbot of Thailand temple in Edinburg, UK, Master Lingjin, Master Guangde presides over the ceremony.
