On the morning of Sept.24, 2015, the graduation ceremony of “The 3rd Shaolin Kungfu African Class of the Ministry of Culture” was held at Shaolin Temple. After three months of study, 19 Kungfu students from five countries, including Senegal, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, have finished their life of practice in Shaolin Temple and they were about to return their own countries. Yuan Daxi, head of Division for African Affairs of Bureau for External Cultural Relations of Ministry of Culture, Kang Jie, deputy-general of the Culture Department of Henan Province, Master Yankang, monastic manger of Shaolin Temple attended the graduation ceremony and watched the report-back performance of the African students.

The 19 African students showed the brilliant Shaolin Kungfu in the report-back performance, including the Group Boxing, Pictographic Boxing, Group Cudgel, Shaolin Weapons, etc, which won thunderous cheers and applause from the audience. They said that they experienced the true cultural connotation in Chan Meditation, Martial Art, Chan Art as well as the healthy lifestyle of Shaolin Temple by themselves, and they would inspire more African people to learn about Shaolin Culture and Chinese culture after returning to their own countries, who would try their best to become the friendship envoys between China and Africa.
