Local time, on Feb 18, 2018, UK Shaolin Xiu Center hosted New Year gala and got together with more than 400 of students of cultural center, Shaolin culture fans and local overseas Chinese to celebrate Chinese New Year.

At 10:30 a.m. Jingtong, Guangde and Yanxiu from UK Shaolin Xiu Center as well as Master Venerable Dr. Kassapa and Venerable R. Nandaloka from Birmingham hosted blessing prayer assembly to pray for the prosperity of our countries and happiness of our people as well as a favorable weather.

Then cultural center carefully prepared the lion dance, Kungfu, lecturing and song performance with Chinese characteristics for people. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. (Editor: Chanyue)
