February 11, 2018, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Spring Festival Gala in the year of Dog named “Ten Dogs are Perfect and Cambridge’s Dogs Bring Bliss” which were hosted by Fraternity of Chinese Students and Scholars in Oxford University, were held joyfully at Oxford City Hall. Invited by organizer, head of UK Shaolin Xiu Center Yanxiu led seven students from cultural center to attend.

As a social group beloved by the local people, UK Shaolin Xiu Center brought Shaolin Boxing, weapons, Imitative-styles and the lion dance to audiences. Strong Chinese culture show inspires the homesickness of overseas students and compatriots.

More than 600 overseas students and overseas Chinese were delighted to attend while the scene was delighted. Vice President of Oxford University Professor Rebecca Surender, Xia Jianhui from Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the chairman and his wife of British Chinese Association attended and watched the party.
