Recently the Cologne Shaolin Cultural Center and the Netherlands Shaolin Cultural Center jointly held Chinese New Year celebrations, which received enthusiastic participation and a good reputation from locals.

Under the leadership of head Shi Yanpo of the Cologne Shaolin Cultural Center in Germany and head Shi Yanfeng of the Netherlands Shaolin Cultural Center, students of both centers and local friendly personage jointly celebrated the Chinese New Year activities including the Spring Festival gala, chanting sutra for blessing, Shaolin Kungfu performance, lion dance and so on. The event was not only reported by local televisions in real time, but also attracted more than 200 audience participating.

Holding Chinese New Year celebrations not only spread and carry forward fine traditional Chinese culture and make health, integration and peace ideas of Shaolin culture benefit more locals, but also improve communication and interaction among countries, contributing wisdom and energy to promote global peace and development.
