Sept. 16, 2020 or the 29th day of the seventh lunar month is the birthday of Earth Store Bodhisattva. Shaolin Temple’s sub-temple--the Feilai Temple, Qingyuan city, Guangdong province, hosted the prayer to bless our country and people and mark the extraordinary day the same day.

Monastics devoutly prayed under the leadership of master Yankuo, abbot of the Feilai Temple.

During the period, lay Buddhists, under the guidance of dharma masters, reverently chanted the Earth Store Bodhisattva, which was to bless benefactors both close and far and all believers as well as pray for the world peace and the end of COVID- 19 epidemic soon.
