Los Angeles Shaolin Kung Fu Chan Academy Holds “Shaolin Temple Day” Celebrations in California

On Mar. 18, 2018, Los Angeles Shaolin Kung Fu Chan Academy held “Shaolin Temple Day” celebrations at Thomas Burton Park. The local believers, students and parents participated in activities.




In 2004 and 2009, the Senate and the House of California voted to confirm the March 21 as “Shaolin Temple Day” every year. Shaolin culture is broad and profound and attracts many lovers to study. Head of Los Angeles Shaolin Kung Fu Chan Academy Yanyue hoped that the activities could promote the participation of parents and community and let people know about more Chan Wu culture of Shaolin temple through the “Shaolin Temple Day” celebrations.





The activities were displayed by students at all levels, including Shaolin boxing, weaponry and other traditional Shaolin Kungfu methods. It also designed many games and snacks stalls with Shaolin element to enrich your understanding of Shaolin culture in various forms of practical experiences. The scene was full of harmonious atmosphere and everyone was filled with delight.





To popularize Yi Jin Jing health culture of Shaolin Temple, the head of the academy Yanyue advocated that this year let the enrolled students come to drive their parents to study Ba Duan Jin and Meditation. Enlightening students, incorporating learning into their own life and sharing it with people around you will benefit more sentient beings.
