AUSTRIA, June 13-18, 2016, (Shaolin)--From June 13 to 18, “2016 Shaolin Culture Week” was solmnly held in Austria. The celebration activities of the event was co-hosted by Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center, Cultural Affairs Bureau of Vienna and the municipal government of the fifth district, which attracted over 700 Shaolin disciples and Shaolin culture lovers from Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Slovokia, etc.

During the culture week, the students of Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center demonstrated Shaolin Kungfu, Qigong, Rou Boxing, Chan Medicine, Chinese Calligraphy, Zen Tea and Chinese language for the audience, there were also photo exhibition on Shaolin culture and films about Shaolin temple for the guests to enjoy.

The students of Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center prepared excellent performaces for the culture week.

Futhermore, Buddhist doctors form Shaolin Pharmacy Bureau carried out health clinic for the local people, providing free medical treatment for over 60 patients each day. All the patients spoke highly of the profound Shaolin culture. Besides, the cultural activities conducted by Shaolin Temple was highly appreciated by the locals.
