On 16th November, Shaolin Temple Athens, celebrated, as every year, the Birthday of the of Patriarch Bodhidharma the 1st Chinese Chan Master. Master Shi Yanxiang, director of Shaolin Temple Athens, welcomed the attendees at 19:30. At 19:45 the ceremony began and at the end Master Yan Xiang passed the light to all of his students saying ‘’Damo Zu Shi’’ and every students replied ‘’Amituofo’’. After the ceremony Master Yanxiang, readed the history of Bodhidharma for 45 minutes. At the end there was a 30 minutes Chan meditation session and after meditation Vegan cuisine served to everybody.
