At 4:00p.m. on May 31, 2015(local time), organized by the Austria Buddhist Association, Activities celebrating the Birthday of the Buddha were held by the local Buddhist temples and worshippers on the banks of the Danube of Vienna. The Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center attended the activity on invitation. Besides, Master Yanliang, head of the center, presided over the ceremony with other masters. President and Vice President of the Austria Buddhist Association, Austrian Cardinal, the monastic mangers and worshippers of temples in Fuguangshan Monastery, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc, also attended this activity.

Blessing Prayer for World Peace was held by Buddhist masters and worshippers during the celebration, and they prayed for world peace, social harmony and wellness of people together. Later on, masters communicated with Buddhist worshippers about difficulties in practicing Buddhism.(Editor: Chan Yue)
