




On Sunday, February 9, 2014, the Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Center and its adjacent Shaolin Kungfu schools participated in the 5th All Martial Arts Festival in Xylokastro Corinthias which is organized by the Panhellenic All Martial Arts Federation. The official representative of the Songshan Shaolin Temple in Greece, EPOKES, was invited to participate in order to promote and disseminate the Shaolin Culture and Shaolin Kungfu, to Southern Greece.
The delegation lead by the General Director of the EPOKES Grand Master Shi Yan Zhuo, accompanied by Master Shi Yan Kong, General Director of Athens Shaolin Cultural Center, Master Shi Heng Ji, Director of Paiania Shaolin School, Master Shi Heng Ya Director of Red Phoenix Shaolin School, Master Shi Heng Feng, Director of Snake & Crane Shaolin School, Master Shi Heng Ling, of Artemida's Shaolin School, Master Shi Miao Yin of Amaliada Shaolin School, Master Shi Miao Qing of Wind Shaolin School, Master Miao Lian of Paiania Shaolin School, Master Miao Ju of Pyrgos Shaolin School, members, students and their families.
The 55 Greek students, aged from 5 to 65 years old, found the opportunity to present the Shaolin Culture and Tradition to the public. They presented a wide variety of empty hands forms and weapons forms. All the spectators applause cheerfully and admired the Culture of Shaolin kung fu. The students had the chance to speak with other martial arts students and exchange. All were impressed and expressed their will to have the chance to know more about Shaolin Culture and Shaolin Kungfu.
The 5th All Martial Arts Festival was completed with great success and all Shaolin students were awarded with more than 60 gold medals. Grand Master Yan Zhuo who brought the Shaolin Culture in Greece during the '80s expressed his gratitude to the Organizing Committee and state that: “Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Center and its adjacent Shaolin kung fu schools, effortless visit every city in Greece, presenting Shaolin Culture to the public. Shaolin Culture is a heritage to all humanity and we should act by its principals”.
